About Reveley Reavely Rievely Reevaley et al
Ralf Reveley, my big brother, began our family research in the 1970s with the name of one cousin in Arkansas, and managed to locate almost our entire Reveley line in America when he published his book in 1987. His goal was to trace the family in Cumberland, and connect them to the Reveleys in Northumberland, but he died before he had a chance. Thanks to the internet I have done this for him, and in the process have met a wonderful extended family, and developed the same desire Ralf had to find and connect us all.

This website is for all of our clan who would like to share family information and help unite us all into one big family tree, all the way back to Northumberland in the Middle Ages. I've posted that tree as it appears in Burke's Peerage.

The website is under construction, and I am slowly creating an album to introduce every branch and twig of the families that I have in my files. If you would like to be included, please email me at sarah_reveley@att.net and I will add your family. If you already have a website, send me the URL so I can post it. If not, try creating your own on Tribal Pages, it's easy!

We have two mailing lists, please join us.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
